1. The Girl On the Train by Paula Hawkins
After reading Gone Girl and seeing the movie (loved it) I've wanted to read something else with a similar style and have already gone through some of, not all, Gillian Flynn's books and was left craving more. I decided to go through Barnes & Noble's current Top 100 Book List and this one came up. Janet Maslin from the New York Times said, "The Girl on the Train has more fun with unreliable narration than any chiller since Gone Girl" so of course, it caught my attention. This book is a psychological thriller that takes place in London.

Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. “Jess and Jason,” she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

3. Go Set A Watchmen by Harper Lee
By now I'm sure you all know about or have already read this book which takes place around 20 years after To Kill A Mockingbird. I actually want to re-read To Kill a Mockingbird then start on this. Let me know if you guys have already read it in the comments!
4. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

I would love to start on this trilogy soon! Sounds very interesting and I've heard good things from friends who have already read them - EXCITE!
5. The Girl in The Spider's Web by David Lagercrantz
I hate to say that I still have not read the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series and after the buzz from this book I've remembered how much I've really wanted to start reading them! The Girl in the Spider's Web is the next book in the series and it has gotten a lot of controversy from the fans. This is because, of course, it's not the coming from the same author who wrote the first three books. Once I read the series I'm sure I'll love that there's more to the story so I'm excited to start on it!
I also haven't seen any of the movies... so a reading and movie weekend is in line.
6. The Maze Runner by James Dasher
I have to admit, I've seen the movie already and it sparked my interest to start on this series! Especially after seeing the trailer for The Scorch Trials which comes out September 18th.

I guess I'm just late to see/read anything these days! This has been on my list for a few months now and no, still haven't seen the movie! I've read a couple of books from John Green and am a HUGE fan (The Fault in Our Stars & Looking For Alaska) as well as watching him and his brother, Hank in their Youtube videos.

Your best friend on the internet is releasing his first book October 20th! I've mentioned a few Youtubers in this Fall reading list and Tyler Oakley is probably my favorite person ever =) I've never met the guy but he seems like the most charming, like-able, funny, down-to-earth person.. how could you not like him? Check out Tyler's video for his book release here and you'll see what I mean.
9. The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells
I want to get back into reading the classics! I used to be good about picking a few up and reading them along with my other book lists and somewhere along the way, I stopped doing this. I recently dropped by my library and browsed the classics section. War of the Worlds stood out to me then, mostly because I'm already a big fan of the story. I've never read the book but have seen the movies and also love hearing the story online when people thought what was said on the radio was true and actually happening.
I've saved in my opinion, the best for last. I cannot put into words how much I love Stephen King's stories and I'm most excited about his new collection of short stories coming out this November! Pre-ordering NOW! I love this article from the guardian.com
